E, I thought of you on Sunday morning when I made my weekly call to my father. He got talking about what it means to die and said that he has concluded that when you're dead, you're dead, and that he sometimes talks to his parents and wife but he doesn't believe that they're really out there. Then, without missing a beat, he started in on how Hillary talked to Eleanor Roosevelt. I countered with Nancy and Ronnie following astrology and he said, with what I imagined to be a straight face, that it's not the same thing because astrology is a science. I just laughed and changed the subject. After all, ya gotta make allowances for your 89 year old dad.

Maybe I should get him an SI membership. He'd fit right in.
