These people your talking about being displaced, it's happening everywhere, but some % of them, the best of them, will go on to exploit other niches, maybe not as employees, but as owners, experience transcends industries. Niches are developed by entreprenuers, they carve them out as unseen opportunity. Once underway, they'll employ others and whose to say they wont employ them better then they are today?
It isnt simple, lives are on the line, that is why the opportunists grinding this market down have the least compasion of all. Your friend hes got an account that you and your buddies want him to sell at the lows, and if and when it aint low enough for some of you, your ilk will take it still lower.
