It might result in the first legitimate debate in the fraud's history. The con-artist pseudo-scientists have had their exclusive way in our left wing media for far too long. Acid rain was debunked over a decade ago, with hardly a peep from the East Coast red network. Many whackos still argue about acid rain, proving you can get away with anything if you pose as a "scientist", or quote people who do.

Global warming has already been debunked, but the PR war has, so far, been one-sided in favor of the snake oil salesmen-who today are paid handsomely in public research grants (i.e., robbing the taxpayers) instead of having to swindle the bumpkins one at a time. With the administration appearing to weigh in-and probably accidentally-the scientific truth may yet slip through in the coming debate.

The real frustration for us is similar to that experienced by every Laker fan every year. You see them playing enough incompetent stretches against teams they should be able to stuff in 4 or 5 games, and it results in a nail-biter 7th game like yesterday. The Bush Administration is a champion-calibre team, the first for the Republicans since Reagan. But today they shot an airball-and fouled the other team while chasing it out of bounds - - - and it's all still on the line.

Look for Kobe Bush to have a monster fourth quarter leading into November. Let's hope it's enough...
