Hi Frank, The ISM polite fiction (Metricom) is that transport is free, the charge is for Internet termination. WLANs will have the same dynamic - free transport to an Access Point, after that you pay. The ISM bands in other countries are "off limits" to for-profit carrier ventures, but UK RA is about to change those rules. The FCC allowed Metricom and x,000 WISPs. petere
