<Semi, people voting for third-party candidates usually end up voting for the party they most despise. I'm sure none of the Naderites intended to put Bush in office back in 2000, but that's what happened anyway.> I can understand how a third party candidates such as Nader was squeezed out of the televised national debates by the other two parties but it never ceases to amaze me why Americans seem to be so afraid of a third party. I follow American politics closely, along with friends and family, and many agree, as do many Americans, that the Republicans and Democrats seem to be two faces of the same coin. I still don't agree with blaming Nader for 'electing' Bush. We all know that Florida was/is a mess from top to bottom. With an election that close, in the state that big, you may as well blame rush-hour traffic. (Of course the Republicans control the streetlights -- so say the Democrats ;-) )
