Common American Currency

A survey suggests that two-thirds of Americans do not want Canada to adopt the US dollar as its currency. An overwhelming 84 per cent reject the idea of Canada, the US, and Mexico creating a common North American currency. Surveys of more than 2,500 Americans and 3,000 Canadians reveal that while half of Canadians are open to a new form of currency for their country, Americans are against moves to a common currency even if that currency is the US dollar.
