The Cypress Hills massif
or
The Great Sand Hills

The Cypress Hills rise about 1800 feet over the surrounding prairie and represent the only unglaciated area of the southern Canadian prairies. If you were looking for gold around Golden Prairie, or anywhere within twenty miles you would have no luck.

It is about 90 miles from Golden Prairie to the Cypress Hills so you could reach them by sundown if you had a vehicle, you could also reach Rossland BC
