"stocks will be distrusted far earlier than currency, like now havent you noticed the recent erosion of trust in stocks ? brokerage houses, biased analysts, inflated earnings yoooohoooo" I see what you're saying, but I feel like distrust of money is a lot more disruptive than the moderate distrust of stocks we see now. People retreated from stocks to cash, if you smack down their cash then they will panic. Then they will distrust everything and start bartering Chevy Tahoes for food.
