The game that is being played here by Nickle who let's face it is deranged and can't help himself and others like Dave Rose who isn't but is merely careless, is guilt by association, innuendo, anything which can be thrown in to denigrate Barrick. Balance Sheets, Notes to the Financial Statements, Company disclosures of one sort or another, none of this matters if your only purpose is to make mischief. It amazes me that Russett takes so much time defending Barrick because he doesn't own one share. Nor do I - not quite true - I do believe I still have single share for old times sake. But Nickle has no interest in contacting the company, nor I imagine has the Prof. from Newfoundland! That's not how the game is played you see. It doesn't fit in with the hit and run strategy we are seeing adopted here.

From my own experience and from information from others I know that ABX is not interested in this and other threads. There is anti Barrick stuff on other bulletin boards. They have decided to take the high ground and let the pigs swill in the shit if they want to. I thought they might at least fire a warning shot across Ted Butler's bows a couple of years ago, but somehow I think not - although he has been strangely absent from the SI boards I read - unless of course he is here in the guise of Nickle or some such.

What we see from Nickle is close to slander or libel - but he can go on with it a) because Barrcik is not interested and, IMO b) because it is very difficult to bring a successful libel action in the US.
