Sector,

I completely agree that the market is large, and KVHI is small so being able to address even a portion of the market is an amazing opportunity for KVHI. That's why I'm long.

I just wanted to point out why the gryos and IMUs product are well suited for one part of the market and not another. And it is because their product is open loop which means it's best for short range systems. As ranges increase the angular drifts would either need to be crosschecked and corrected through logic at a higher system level or the gyros/IMUs will give unacceptable error bars when trying to hit a target.

For short range systems the volumes will be greater and hence the price pressure will probably be greater, so I think KVHI is hitting the right part of the market.

Mike
