Hi Frank,

Roger Marks responded:
You wrote at the right time. I've just posted a tutorial published in IEEE Communications Magazine this week (see below).

At your instigation, I've also organized our tutorial page [http://www.wirelessman.org/docs/02/C80216-02_05.pdf]. I think this should resolve the problem.

The Buzz page could use some dates, but that's a chore. I fixed one broken EE Times link and can't fix the other one. The remaining dozen seem to be fine.

The WiMAX founding companies all intend to participate in whatever the 802.16 market becomes. What they are shipping is 'pre-standard'. Some trials have indicated a need for rework...

>>will adoption of 802.16 be predominantly by _________?<< operators with large capex budgets? [not Inukshuk]

As a side note, some new radar detection requirements are in store for FDD operators in the middle 5GHz band - 5.25GHz - 5.725GHz, and ITU-R WP8B will make them evident later this Summer. I doubt what 802.16a has will suffice ;-)
