Patricia, I do not recall seeing this letter either. I did see that they were going to the flat 9.99 per trade fee for power etrade customers, and I DID receive information that they were charging extra for pre-market and after hours trading. It seems that all of the companies have started instituting special fees and assessments. Datek now has a monthly service charge for inactivity and accounts under 5k. Does this 3 dollar fee apply to every order? I couldn't really tell from this letter.....maybe just too early in the morning!
