Don't forget that while Mt. Dew is doing great, it's not the flagship. The name on the door is what's going to ultimatly push PepsiCo forward. I don't know how they're going to handle the split up for the individual investors, but once the fog clears you'll be left with a PepsiCo that includes two companies:

Frito-Lay: One of the best run companies around with virtually no competition in an endless category.

Pepsi-Cola: A company that has been mired with "little problems" over the past year. Problems that limit the stock price. Some problems have also centered around their ownership of the restaurant divisions and their inability to compete in certain areas. Now they are poised to enter areas that they were not able to be involved with.

I see 60 by mid '98.
