<<i say....get it over with now!!!...<gg>>> Barton Biggs says that a lot of people got caught in techs that are still holding and buried, he says when the grim reality finally sinks in and they just say " no more!"; then we will be over with it. NYT story last Sunday said a lot of people , now realizing those massive losses are not going to go away, are now getting angry. Furious type e-mails are hitting the papers and the funds .
The last straw appears to be their anger over the talking heads shouting over and over, "the market NEVER has been down 3 years in a row, we rally!", which, happens to be a LIE.
Now for the talkin head that gets tons of time on the TV screens that burns me more than any other, Marv Levy of Banc America.
This guy has been talking bullish and with a simperingly self-assured smile as he dismisses all bear arguments as "stupidities". And as his near perfect wrongness just gets longer and longer, he never changes, and no one ever challenges him and says "Marv, you have been giving us this jerk-off BS for a very longtime, fess up, you don't have a clue do you?" Marv GURANTEES consumer spending will NEVER slowdown.
He says Americans are rich and happy and just plain want to spend money, and he says, they should, because there is NOTHING to worry about. Gag me.:) max |
