Americans will never embrace a team sport we can't dominate in.That's why hockey(something like 60% Canadian,20% World,20% American players) is the least popular of the 4 major team sports in the U.S..Same with soccer or futbol as we say down here in South Florida.I have been hearing how soccer was going to be the sport of the future in the U.S., since the early days of the NASL.I heard the same thing in the early 90s with all the soccer moms.Never happened.Never will.Sorry for the long post.Pheww,I'm worn out.
