germany is great, i especially like the bits along the mosel (piesport, etc) and down around lake konstanz (bodensee).

personally i'm thinking of france, though. i know it's crowded, i know it can be a little intimidating, but paris has really gotten under my skin. besides, where else can you get fabulous food AND a society that changes forms of government more often than it changes bars of soap?
