I loved the Kingston Trio. They came to Boston College for my senior year and I was so thrilled to see them live. All of your songs bring back those memories...but the words to The Merry Minuet...seem scarier today... And we know for certain that some lovely day someone will set the spark off and we will all be blown away. My husband sang in a glee club and we would all stand around a piano with beer in hand singing songs. One of them was Cocaine Bill and Morphine Sue... A catchy little song that we all loved in 1963. We didn't know anyone who actually used cocaine or morphine! A few years later, that song wasn't funny anymore!
