You guys and others privately have all made good points regarding the level of responsibility of the SEC in this matter and I've come around to accepting the fact that they are a bigger part of the continuing problem than I previously felt. What got me started on this was a sense that the thread was adopting a position of poor helpless little GOE vs. the big bad SEC when GOE had just been exposed as having made some serious lapses of good judjment. Those lapses however are becoming old news while the SEC apparently remains as the obstacle to the resumption of normal trading.

Unless it is cost or time prohibitive or damaging in some other way to GOE, I think they should file the paperwork for the resumption of trading to force the issue. If they are turned away by NASDAQ because of an ongoing investigation by the SEC I would think that would give GOE a case to take to THEIR representives to request that the SEC conclude their affairs in a timely manner. Of course forcing the SEC to put up or shut up might only cause them to dig deeper. So I guess I move to the camp of frustration of being stuck between a rock and a hard place.
