I've read a few reports on how ML, GS and JPM were working the QQQ futures short and pushing very hard. I posted one of the notes on HTP the other day. To me this is very typical of their style. Put out a buy recommendation, wait a few weeks and then try to hammer the market in the opposite direction of their reco.

Of course it's all very legal, above board, and they can justify their actions with additional spin if they are ever called on it....

Keep in mind that this is nothing new. I want to make sure that I'm not coming across with sour grapes as we all know this is just one part of playing the market.
