But those guys whose life counted on hitting that at which they aimed near every time, most often hit their targets at those ranges & greater with absolute final accurate results. Were not the American bison, pronghorn, & British Redcoats endangered species?

You compared the muzzekl loaders to the M-16, think if you had checked against the 30-30 of the day - when it meant .30 cal & 30 gr ffg not today's "modern" rounds?

Should we mention the first "modern" .45 Long Colt the .44 S&W or Russian, against the most powerful prior to shelled rounds - the Colt Walker?
