Hmmm....I thought for long time Ebbers & WCOM believed that the wireless space was a MUST niche that WCOM had to be involved in.

The street pressured WCOM to head in that direction so they could be a total solution provider. Then they tried to buy Nextel and and everyone gasped! The street wanted wireless not BoD. It, like the spin-off, was a bad decision that is now being corrected.
