Laws. "My initial comment was: 'It seems strange to me that, although there is no shortage of people to complain about the deleterious effects of institutionalized greed, so little effort is put into understanding how our laws foster and reward it.' " If I may play devil's advocate for just a moment, let me suggest that enormous amounts of money and effort are expended on exactly that! The only problem is that those resources are invested by those who serve to benefit most from those very same laws. -Steve
