OK, I just got done watching the France and Denmark games with S. Arabia next.

The biggest disappointment of the tournament so far must be the Frenchies, especially after I picked them to go all the way! I know it is not the same without Zidane but they should still play much better. Instead, we got these players playing like zombies out there...Can you imagine after 180 minutes of play they still have not scored a freaking goal...I disagree on the thread opinions on the red card. Henry deserved it, the ref was right there, he raised in a way telling the ref....here I come ref, see it, see it, bang! I also agree that this play was totally uncharacteristic of him. I am not sure what is wrong here, just a lot of frustration and internal dissaray probably. Of course the blame must start at the top, now you tell me "WHAT THE F$@K WAS THE COACH DOING SUBBING AT 91st PLUS MINUTE???????????????????????????" Uruguay, a team that refuses to score, of course lady luck has abandoned them but still a marginal team. So far, Senegal is the elite of this group by far and Denmark should go through. The Frenchies must beat the Danes by two goals and I just don't see it happening, but, as World Champs, you never know, especially with Zidane back. I hope they do it but they sure blew it today.

Senegal gave Denmark way too much respect in the first half. No question about the penalty. I declare Senegal's goal the GOAL OF THE TOURNAMENT so far, it was like a choreographic masterpiece. No question about the red card here either. I thought the ref could do a better job managing the game, but overall he did well.

I am impressed by the officiating this year!

Now I can't wait for the classic England - Argentina. I would love to see England beat them and Simeone get a red card too<g>
