I am having big problem in them not including house price in inflation calculation. I know that the government and the Fed will do all they can, and even cook the books to make the inflation look tame. However, when my house more than doubles in price in the last 5 years (I live in the suburbs of Boston), it's hard for me to believe that average Joes don't feel any inflation pressure.
