RE:>>>we shouldn't be giving eBay these ideas for free<<<

It may have taken eBay two years to implement some of my ideas but it finally has *paid off*. I just sold an item as a Tading Assistant for 10G and i'm going to start working on Estates.

...wondering if you still read these posts Doug.....

DOUG, I just thought of an idea: let eBay be the middleman: eBay should set up a network of "AUTHORIZED" resellers and appraisers.
Maybe eBay could require AUTHORIZED sellers/appraisers (eBay agents) to take a week of classes (like a McDonald's University type of thing i guess???) and have reps check out the agents workplace once a year for compliance of
handling inventory, that they use approved scanners and or digital camera equipment and auction posting software etc.

They can set up a fair and standard fees to resell and appraise auction items

All Authorized agents auctions would be specialy flagged that they can sell items for anyone in a certain geographic location...there could also be a listing of authorized sellers on an Image Map of the United States..Click on a state and then find one near you...etc

i.e. "This seller can sell can auction your goods & services...to find out more about this program CLICK HERE"

Dunno...just a thought!
