Bill Savoy still has his rare button... Last year he told me told me how much he still treasures it. Perhaps it serves a sad reminder of the DotBomb days of yesteryear, and all the stupid investments Allen made in the late 90's. My wife added the shamrocks at the last minute, cause it was St. Patrick's Day. I gave an extra one to BryanB. He was supposed to give it to Jeff Dryer, the co-founder of Silicon Investor. Don't know if Jeff ever got his or not. The very last button in existence I personally gave to Paul Allen. When I handed it to him, he gave me the weirdest look, as if to say, "What the hell is that? I don't need no friggin button!" Trouble is, nowadays one of those incredibly rare buttons AND $2.50 (or 3 1/3 shares of INSP) will hardly buy you a cup of coffee...or at least a Starbuck's double-tall. As there were only about two dozen ever made in the history of the entire world, I've been wondering what they're fetchin on eBay these days. A hell of a lot more than 10-20 shares of INSP stock...I'd reckon.
