Yep, Tim, I sure dated myself with that reference to the 8 track, didn't I. Oh geez, that does bring back good memories. I drove a Chevy Nova, had the rear end jacked up, big tires on the back, and would drive through the Sonics and drive-ins burping my tires laying a little rubber, acting tough, and trying to get the attention of the locals. Tull playing in the background.... No A/C. Not even a radio. Couldn't afford it. Bought an 8 track and used speakers that I had mounted on plywood laying in the floorboard of the back seat. Also, loved Led Zeppelin and Iron Butterfly. I can still sing In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. About got the family kicked out of a really nice restaurant in Steamboat Springs, Colo a couple of years ago when ole Dad starting singing In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. Had our end of the place rockin'. What a hoot. RR
