RR, I went thru an 8 track player or three in my day..... and I drove a Chevy Nova too! One difference though...... I couldn't lay rubber on a wet road pointed uphill :-(

My Nova had a 250 cid straight 6........ OOF

It got me thru college just fine though. I put mucho bucks into an AM/FM stereo, kickass speakers, 40 channel CB & chit like that.

Led Zep, The Who, Beatles, Skynard, Tom Petty, Elton John, Moody Blues, Bad CO, Styx, Rush, Steve Miller, CSNY, Neil Young, Eagles, Supertramp, Aerosmith, Heart, Pat Benatar, Fleetwood Mac, Grand Funk, Triumph, The Band, Janis, Pink Floyd, Cat Stephens, Credence Clearwater & of course Jethro Tull (among others) were usually blaring away. JT was my favorite group, but I had a wide variety of other groups I really got into. Music has always found a way to stir my soul. I can still sing along to almost all of the hits from the list above.

And I bet you had a grand time in Steamboat Springs that evening........ cause I know you'll always be true.......... Oh, won't you come with me and take my hand? Oh, won't you come with me and walk this land?

OOF
