Nope, didn't see a dime. She gave most of it to the Catholic Church and several charities she was fond of, the rest she spend with reckless abandon! Well, her son stole over 2 million but that was beside the point. She had the best care when she became ill and I was the only one with her from the time she went into assisted living 8 years ago until the moment of her death. The rest knew about the will and basically told her to shove it. Grandmother wanted to amend her will to leave me something but I declined.....I haven't ever regretted it. We're very comfortable and we did it all on our own......she told me before she died how very proud she was of us, that meant a lot coming from her.<g>
