Talked to an INSP spokesperson today. Here are notes on the answers I was given to my questions:

VirginUSA has announced that it will begin its commercial roll-out during the second half of this year, looks like the third quarter. Infospace has nothing to say about whether it may or may not be involved at this time. Hmmmm.

Verizon signed with MSN because Microsoft offered to pay them an amount of money they couldn't refuse if they allowed MSN to power their mobile internet portal. Infospace and Verizon continue to have ongoing discussions about wireless services Verizon might pay Infospace to provide. The Verizon-MSN deal is exclusive for MSN, so that INSP won't lose any of its other U.S. carrier clients to MSN. Don't forget, however, that INSP provides services for MSN, so that Verizon wireless will carry INSP services at least indirectly.

Airpay's roll-out isn't yet complete because some sort of card with I presume an integrated circuit that I presume is necessary for mobile devices to work with Airpay hasn't been manufactured yet. I apologize for the lack of clarity in this note.

P.S. I still think that Infospace's future is with Authorize.Net and not with its basic wireless business. Just take a look at the percentage of current revenues each business is currently contributing, which one is profitable, and which one is projected to grow and which one is projected to shrink during the current quarter. Also consider which one is under attack by Microsoft and which one isn't.
