If gold stocks are sold during the last phase of the nassacre to meet margin calls, then bonds should be the "safe harbor" and perform well, as frequently gold stocks and bonds move in opposite directions. Then again, if this is indeed the ultimate bottom, stocks and bonds should experience a large concurrent decline! Murray
