Randy,
My estimate is three weeks or Dow 8500, whichever comes first. That would be a good time to start acting.
Then there would be no correction. The market state is beyond correction.
There is a remote possibility of reaching 9200 next spring and crashing from there, but current red signals too numbered for this one to materialize.
Confirmation when S&P 500 below 900 (around dow 7860). That would be a good time to increase short position.
