Not only that, but there's a tax advantage (profits are split 60/40 long term/short term cap gains, I might have that backwards), no wash sale issues, and the daytrading margin is around $1500/contract which means you can put 10k in an account, trade more contracts than your going to want to as you start and stuff the rest of your daytrading stock account moneys into gold. ;)
