saw Larry King interview of James Dobson (family expert)
very interesting, not surprising, really disturbing
he said something like
"this new generation of children and young adults is perhaps the most neglected, most abused, and most ill-prepared for adult life in the history of this country"
he mentioned broken families, divorce, latchkeys, abandoned kids, child abuse, child exploitation
he cited RELATIVE MORALITY where we have no right & wrong, nobody is at fault, everyone is ok, little discipline
now we have accelerated (the result?) criminal behavior against children
and an increase in missing children
he cited PROGRESSIVE SUPREME COURT rulings allowing cyber pornography
not a topic I wish to discuss here
somewhat because I enjoy a bare-chested woman
but I have clear limits
he was asked by King if he thought things are getting better in our society since Dobson embarked on a lifetime of religious lecturing and teaching about family values
Dobson showed sadness, and admitted
"no, but if my work has helped some children, even one, great, and I can take satisfaction from that"
from an expert on family
some dislike Dobson for his Christian leanings
I have loved the guy for years, having read from his books
