True, and it depends on one's situation. For me, a second line is around $25/month when all the little 'fees' are added in. AT&T unlimited internet access at $22 makes the deal $47/month. DSL is $49.95/month from Verizon, with the first three months at $29.95 and a free modem. I'm a trader, so I have to keep the phone backup as AT&T dialup access is MUCH more reliable than broadband, but as a trader my situation is not the norm...

Regards,
John
