I've been running W2kPro on a 500MHz PIII for awhile and it runs fine for me. Much more stable than 98 was.
I just took delivery of a Micron 2.2GHz P4 and it came with XP Home. I'll likely change it to W2kPro. The only reason I'm upgrading is that my son's PII had a disk controller failure, so he gets my PIII.
