I disagree strongly with abandonment of Bretton Woods

federal and trade debts have resulted in well over $2000 billion to be controlled outside our borders
now surely Central Banks could collude to protect their currencies
but they have ALL combined and worked in concert to sell off their gold assets
US about 50%
England about 75%
Germany about 35%
our Strong Dollar Policy has backfired, Zeev
it has essentially exported control over USTBond yield
and USdollar value

Central Banks cannot throw rocks if they dont hold them anymore
defending the indefensible over 30 yrs costs many rocks
pardon my multiple metaphors
but I think the CB's, like the USGovt, has largely played their hand
