I think its a difficult proposition to expect the market to trend higher basically the entire day (from 10AM until close) without some sort of relapse....given there was not a huge amount of fear at this morning's bottom, and sentiment indicators during day (VIX, others) showed a lot of optimism during the run... Had we gotten more fear this morn, and continued fear during day (disbelief), then I might have bought all day up scenario...its wedgie nature also, did not given me maximum confidence, if you know what I mean
