Genuine Parts Co. The Group's principal activity is distribution of automotive replacement parts, industrial replacement parts, office products and electrical/electronic materials. The Automotive parts group distributes replacement parts (other than body parts) for all motor vehicle makes and models. Industrial parts division distributes industrial bearings and power transmission equipment replacement parts including hydraulic and pneumatic products. Office products group distributes computer supplies, imaging supplies, office machines, general office supplies janitorial supplies and others. Electrical/electronic materials group distributes materials for the manufacture and repair of electrical and electronic apparatus. The company distributes its products in the United States, Mexico and Canada through approximately 1,800 distribution centers. Automotive parts accounted for 51% of 2001 revenues; industrial parts, 27%; office products, 17% and electrical/electronic materials, 5%.
