Options don't drive it, but they are a factor. The 09/11 lows are the site of the perhaps mythical double bottom. They MUST be defended at all costs (otherwise the terrorists will have won<NG>). Furthermore, it's where a lot of "support Ninjas" (as AA might phrase it) are waiting with limit orders to go clown long. Maybe just for a bounce, maybe the PPT (if they exist) gets into the act as well. I sure don't want to be Clown Short when we get there. When it's breached I'll consider reentry, but not from this side of the line.
