I was amazed to hear commentary that the case was considered "thin." Hadn't he confessed eleven times over the years?

I understand the closing argument of the prosecution was very, very good, and that until then, no one thought he'd get convicted. Do you think it will be published? Would there be some reason connected to the appeal that would keep them from doing that?

It's good it wasn't a case of a black celebrity defendant, a white victim or two, and a predominantly black jury, or, I have reason to suspect, there might well have been a different verdict, even if the case was stronger than it was. Anyone want to disagree with that?
