I just saw the England-Argentina game on tape in a Santa Barbara English pub. It seems in this area if you can't get up at 4:00 am you won't see the game on TV at all.

It seemed fairly evenly matched though England had more clear goal scoring chances. Argentina had lots of possession particularly toward the end as England tired but they couldn't do anything with it or weren't allowed to do anything with it.

I think it was a penalty as it would have been a free kick had it been outside the area. Even if there was no contact Owen was obstructed - completely unnecessarily as it turned out as he wasn't clear on goal.

I still feel that Argentina will get through though I hope that Sweden make it instead - I really can't stand all that gamesmanship.
