The Constitution requires equal protection under the law (14th amendment). That means you cannot have laws that target specific groups of citizens. Another portion (sorry, memory fails which portion) deals with the right to speedy trials and not being held without being charged. Ashcroft would do away with at least these two portions. Next would be any and all privacy laws. He is relentless. After all, he is on a 'mission from God'.
