i suggest more and more people are wanting to escape their cellular phone with all due respect, you are simply wrong on this. go to places that have a longer and more thorough experience with mobile life - eg western europe - and you will see they have become more, not less, indispensible. and when you see me on vacation answering my mobitel, you are not seeing me reconnecting with work, you are seeing me reconnect with the friends and family i have scattered across a full 11 timezones. i gave up the landline 4 years ago this septemeber. i will never give up my cell.
