I posted it as an alternative way to evaluate Siebel's success that might inure to stockholders. Can you please explain your phrase "inure to stockholders"? I am in agreement with JS that an important activity is to look through the cash flow statement with an eye towards how various line items effect my wealth as an owner. I don't claim to be an expert at accomplishing this activity, but I am certain that all compensation paid to employees, including stock option compensation, should be included in any such analysis.
