You are absolutely right about this. It's amazing that you can hold the positions you do and still make such a declaration: I believe you don't go from democracy to totalitarianism in a single step. You get there incrementally. And once you start to slide, it's hard to stop. If one small piece of the Constitution is ignored, what does that say about the validity of the rest?
