The problem is that some of the shadier gun dealers are allowing their weapons to get into the wrong hands. And the police/ATF are handcuffed because they can't track the guns. I would think that all responsible gun owners would want to help. Most are proud of their gun ownership, displaying gun racks, NRA badges, etc. Is it such a giant leap to ask for some responsible registration?
