BTW, I continue to be cautiously optimistic and here's an excerpt from an investing newsletter that I just received:

that is better than dropping.

In short, America is doing what it has always done, and that is to
adjust and grow. The core business of America is still in pretty
good shape, with a little fraying around the technology edges...>>
