I think you just made a good point. A lot of what I saw in my search was a combination of sex and violence and degradation. I don't see these as mutually exclusive issues at all. We had a much harder time with the violent movies than with the computer porn. Other parents frequently allowed movies to be shown at sleepovers that we wouldn't allow at home. I was amazed at what nice, Christian parents were showing in their dens to 8 year old boys.

On the other hand, one of ours drew the bloodiest, grossest pictures you ever saw all through elementary school-- dismemberings, disembowelings, beheadings, spouting gouts of blood.... and he turned out the sweetest, gentlest person. I think. So far.
