Kevin, you seem like a reasonable guy and a real fast typer. <g> I believe a great deal of the generaL publics perceptions, and perhaps your own, about guns are driven by an avalanche of MISinformation. This campaign of MISinformation is driven by leftwing, utopiacrat zealots who believe that the very presence of guns is what causes gun violence. Therefore if guns were removed, violence would vanish. Make no mistake, it is THEY who really drive the agenda. I have heard this author interviewed several times and his factual analysis of guns and crime paint a completely different picture of the real situation. Unfortunately, it is the rabid, closeminded zealots that gun owners like Dave and others fear. This is the real bar to reasonable, intelligent gun legislation. I, like you, want that. amazon.com
